Kings Park, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the 2014 St. Joseph's College of Long Island Invitational, held at Sunken Meadow State Park. In the Women's Race, which was won by Glady Kimutai of NYIT. Her time was 19:43.56. The top Cougar was Freshman Rasheeda Rhymer, who finished 191st, with a time of 31:24.04. The race featured 230 student-athletes from 30 schools (nine from CUNYAC). It was a 5k (3.1 mile) race. In the Men's Race, which was a 8k (4.1 miler), featured 224 student-athletes from 28 schools (eight from CUNYAC). Scott Litts (Dowling) won the race with a time of 26:50. The top Cougar was Freshman Xeron Quow, who finished 95th, with a time of 32:39. Here are the results of the races.
