The Medgar Evers Department of Athletics held its first banquet in three calendar years this past Tuesday evening at the AB1 Dining Hall on its campus, with student-athletes from the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022, as well as the non-competition year of 2020-2021, getting honored. The night was a raging success, as students not only enjoyed the memorable night in person, but the occasion was also livestreamed on Zoom for the first time. Director of Athletics Chetara Murphy spoke proudly of all student-athletes once the evening concluded.
