Newark, NJ- The Medgar Evers College Women's Cross Country team competed at the 2013 Nick Russo Halloween Classic Technology 5K Classic. This meet was competed against D2 and D3 schools. The Cougars finished 3rd with 85pts. The top runner for the Cougars was Freshman Makeda Harvey, who finished in 38th place, with a time of 29:53.63. The four other runners were; Senior Olivia Wiggins, who finished in 41st place with 42:05.12, Freshman Mitchele Felix in 42nd place with a time of 42:10.44, Junior Shantal Russell in 43rd place, with a time of 45:08.63, and Freshman Elaina Porter in 44th place, with a time of 45:15.69.
