COUGARS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT YORK INVITATIONALPublished by
Bronx, NY- On Sunday Oct. 7, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Cross Country teams competed at the 2012 York College Invitational. In the Men's race, the course which was 8k or 4.97 miles featured 117 runners from 22 schools. The top Cougars runner was Mark Lord. The Sophomore finished in 26th place (23rd in Senior Division) with a 31:38. Medgar Evers finished as a team in 10th place with 305pts. In the Women's race, it featured 116 runners from 21 schools. The course was 6k or 3.72 miles. Medgar Evers as a team finished in 15th place with 375pts. The top Cougar runner was Sophomore Kiwelewa Mlimwengu in 70th place (55th in Senior Division) and a time of 35:06. Here are the results of the Cougar finishes in their respective races.
